Karoo is built on a fiberglass-filled high-impact polycarbonate chassis with interlocking protective shells and is weather-resistant and is IP67 in waterproof and dustproof rating. It has been rigorously tested for shock, vibration, and environmental fatigue making it a benchmark for durability and ruggedness.

The unit measures 102.8 x 61.7 x 19.9 mm and weighs 118.1 grams. The 31.8 Hammerhead Mounting System handlebar mount weighs 39 grams.

The 3.2” screen (measured diagonally) has the highest resolution for a bike computer with 292 pixels-per-inch, anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass, and a responsive touchscreen.

The total ROM capacity is 64 GB with approximately 4GB reserved for the operating system and default applications, freeing the rest to support your maps and data!

Karoo has a Quad-core 2.0Ghz CPU with 4GB of RAM. This ultra-fast yet ultra-efficient processor delivers smooth operation and data visualization.

Karoo has also been tested to ensure that prolonged or intense UV exposure does not discolor or degrade the materials.

Karoo has been reliability tested for operation between -10°C and 50°C. The unit is IP67 Water-resistant and the USB-C Cover provides your Karoo with extra resistance to mud, rain, salt, and more.

Reminder - Do Not charge the unit in wet conditions or if the charging port is full of moisture.

The team at Hammerhead developed the best-in-class Hammerhead Mounting System (HMS) for sleek and secure cockpit setups. However, as cyclists, we realize that our customers may have custom mounts, multiple bikes, or other mount restrictions.
To assure your Karoo is backwards compatible, we include a Quarter-Turn Adapter (fits on all quarter-turn style mounts) as a thank you to each customer.
Additional HMS mounting solutions are available for purchase to suit varied ride styles and setups

Battery Save Mode allows riders to customize their Karoo for more than 35 hours of battery life to meet their most demanding cycling goals. With this update, riders will be able to choose between three different battery states:

Default Ride Mode (15+ hours of battery in standard use cases)
Battery Save Mode (30+ hours of battery)
Advanced Battery Savers (35+ hours of battery)
